Steve Lerner, CEO

Since joining Alchimer as CEO in 2008, Mr. Lerner has guided the company through new product introductions, strategic alliance agreements and aggressive marketing programs.

He has founded three technology companies and he has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial, senior-executive experience with technology companies in Southeast Asia, North America and Europe. He has built a record of consistently driving rapid business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities for domestic and international market expansion, establishing key strategic alliances, guiding senior management teams, directing product launches, and maximizing operational resources.

His expertise includes startups, joint ventures, business turnarounds, reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, market strategy, and wide-ranging technology planning and implementation.

He has a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and holds four U.S. patents in HD component manufacturing.

Claudio Truzzi, CTO

Dr. Truzzi has more than 20 years of experience in R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and product development in the microelectronics industry. His career includes work in molecular engineering, 3D-IC process flows, IC design, microelectronic packaging, MEMS and bio-electronic components, box build, wireless systems and hardware/software integration.
Prior to joining Alchimer, Dr. Truzzi was a consultant for electronic manufacturing services companies, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, wafer-level process developers, and optoelectronics companies. He also has held senior management positions at Convergix and CS2 in Belgium.

Dr. Truzzi’s achievements include development of miniature high-performance electronic systems for wireless and industrial applications, high-frequency packaging, antennas and filters and wireless sensor networks. Widely published in scientific journals and conference proceedings, Dr. Truzzi has an M.S. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Bologna and a Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the University of Torino.

Nicolas LaForest, CFO

Mr. Laforest has more than a dozen years of experience as chief financial officer or financial consultant at several European companies, including startups, and he is a former manager at Ernst & Young Audit. Most recently, he was CFO at Citilog, an advanced video-based surveillance products company. Prior to that he was CFO at Satimo, an industry leader in electromagnetic field measurements in the microwave frequency range.

He has a degree from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris, one of the highest-rated business schools in Europe.
